Upward Basketball & Cheerleading is for all children (not on a middle school team) K5 through 8th grade basketball and K5-5th grade cheerleading. 

***At this time, registration for the 2024-25 season is open.***

Play time during games is equal for all players. Boys and girls have their own separate divisions to play in (as registration numbers allow. We have been able to do this for all ages in the past.) 

Respect and kindness toward all coaches and referees is required at all times by everyone in the building. Coaches and refs are volunteers who enjoy a hotdog and cold beverage after the game. Positively cheering like a maniac for your kids, their teammates, and their opponents is highly encouraged and appreciated. They are kids. Game days may be the only day anyone cheers for them. All practices and games start the week of December 2. There will be no practice over the holiday break. Games begin the week of January 6 and occur each Saturday for 8 weeks.

Practice is 1 hour per week. Games are 1 hour per week. No Wednesday practice.
